The Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS), a department within the Division of Student Affairs at Ohio University, seeks to recruit a full time psychiatrist to join an exciting team of diverse professionals. CPS is a comprehensive university counseling center located in Athens, OH, in Southeastern Ohio. A psychiatrist provides primary outpatient psychiatry care to enrolled students on the Athens campus. The psychiatrist's duties include general psychiatric assessment, treatment, and follow-up as well consultation to other campus and local physicians and CPS mental health professionals. A strong emphasis is placed on health education and preventive medicine as well as the delivery of medical care for acute and chronic psychiatric illness. Salary and Benefits: Salary range of $149,432 to $201,732, commensurate with experience and credentials, plus an exceptional benefits package including among others, comprehensive health insurance, generous PTO, an exceptional retirement plan, and educational benefits for employee and eligible dependents.
