New ODM behavioral health website and email for policy questions
ODM launched their re-vamped website on October 6th to take advantage of features available through the new InnovateOhio platform. The behavioral health information can still be accessed on their former URL, or by searching under the “Resources for Providers” tab at www.medicaid.ohio.gov.The changes include a new Behavioral Health page, with information such as a provider search to make it easier for members to find information about BH services – and includes helpful resources that should support more effective linkages and care coordination across BH providers and stakeholders.
Additionally, the ODM)Behavioral Health team has a new email address to address policy questions: BHPolicy@Medicaid.Ohio.gov. The new mailbox will allow ODM to dedicate more resources to reviewing and responding to policy questions about the state’s behavioral health programs, services, or initiatives.
ODM will be disabling the previous mailbox (BH-Enroll@medicaid.ohio.gov) on November 1st. It was created in 2018 to support providers during the BH redesign, and is no longer needed. In lieu of the old address, BH providers who are interested in enrolling with Medicaid can visit the Medicaid provider enrollment page.
