Major depression in children

Recent research suggests that the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) Anxiety/Depression scale can help identify children at highest risk for pediatric major depression (MDD) and, if implemented clinically, could cost-effectively screen children and identify those most in need of early intervention.

This presentation provides an overview of MDD in children and articulates the use of the CBCL to identify children at greater risk for depression. Presented by Kenny Lin, M.D. of Massachusetts General Hospital. Click here to access the Course of the Month and sign up for updates about this free member benefit.
