Medicaid IT glitch accidentally terminates providers
A recent upgrade to Ohio's Medicaid system accidentally resulted in the termination of approximately 4,200 Medicaid providers statewide. In addition, providers’ access to MITS was also effected. The Department of Medicaid has assured the OPPA and other provider associations that the error was fixed over the Mar. 21-22 weekend and that providers can disregard the termination letters that were automatically generated in error.
