MyCare Ohio northeast region enrollment May 1

On May 1, 2014, Ohio’s first integrated care delivery system will begin serving individuals enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid. The project, named “MyCare Ohio” will launch first in Northeastern Ohio, including Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina counties.

Eligible individuals must choose a MyCare Ohio Plan for their Medicaid benefits and may choose to receive their Medicare services from the plan. Effective January 1, 2015, individuals who have not elected to get Medicare coverage from a MyCare Ohio plan will automatically be enrolled for both Medicare and Medicaid services, unless they elect a different Medicare option.
