CPT coding/documentation/billing for psychiatry workshop - June 20, Columbus

This day-long coding workshop in Columbus, presented by Diane Zucker, M.Ed., CCS-P, is designed for psychiatrists and their new or experienced billing and coding staff and all other mental health professionals who want to stay current with new information, rules and policies that impact billing for mental health services. Documentation is the key to accurate medical coding in order to be reimbursed by insurance carriers. It is widely known that “if it isn’t documented in the medical record, it didn’t happen.” Failing to document appropriately and/or using the wrong CPT and/or ICD-10 code(s) can result in claims being delayed or denied even though the services provided should have been a covered service. Further, any omission in details while documenting can lead to under payments and/or overpayments, which is identified during audits.
