AMA Truth in Advertising survey results released

On August 28, the American Medical Association (AMA) released new public opinion survey data to support the AMA Truth in Advertising (TIA) Campaign, which is designed to ensure physicians and other health care professionals clearly and honestly state their level of training, education, and licensing. The first page of the survey contains a chart outlining patient perceptions on who is or is not a physician.
